History

Jamil served 2 tours in Iraq and was part of the canine division of the Army. He had a way with dogs, but his training techniques were said to be somewhat unorthodox, yet very effective.

After his service, he joined the Police force and applied to be a K-9 officer. He excelled at his job until he refused to send his dogs to draw out the fire of an armed militia that had taken over a military compound. Jamil deemed the firefight was too intense, and that his dogs would not survive it. He told the Unit Chief to wait for the back-up to arrive, but the Chief would have none of it. He rushed in with his men, swearing that if any got killed, Jamil would be the one to blame.

As it turned out, an officer was shot and killed. There was an investigation by Internal Affairs, and Jamil was quietly transferred to Animal Control and made a dogcatcher. He was ostracized by the other officers, who felt he cared more about dogs than people, and in some way, it was true.

During his time in Animal Control, he adopted four dogs who were to be euthanized. A Rottweiler he named Bear, a German Shepard named Max, a Pitbull named Duke and a Chihuahua named Fernando. These four were now his family, and he trained them to work with him.

They were fierce and dangerous, but Jamil was their leader, without a doubt. They obeyed him with no hesitation, and they knew what he wanted with just a look.

Jamil eventually left Animal Control and a few months later, he was approached by Knight Panda who recruited for his group, The Unjust.
