This enabled him to survive the hard times. His parents struggled to get food on his plate but many were the times he went without any for days. Luckily, he never got sick, which his parents were thankful for. He left school at an early age for lack of money, but he eventually got a training in a weapon's manufactory. Then, he was called to serve as a soldier in WWII. Unknown to him, his time at the lead work had changed his body. Unlike many of his workmates who died due to lead intoxication, Donald's body's rejuvenative properties allowed him to survive the toxins by making the lead a part of him. His body's defenses had allowed the lead to build up over his bones, giving him more resistance. The extra weight forced his muscles to compensate and his strength increased as a result. He later moved to Chile and had a family, but his aged mind still thinks he`s in WWII again. For that reason, he combats crime wherever it rises, while wearing a fancy uniform.
