Brad Umpter has been a police officer in the Chicago area since he was 20, but even with his three years of experience, he is still considered a rookie in Excelsior City due to dealing with supers for the first time. Matthew Cameron quickly took him under his wing and invited Brad to that fateful poker game where the group decided to form the team, Public Servants.
Brad is a good Midwestern boy with good Midwestern mannerisms, but he is not very creative. That is unfortunate seeing that the gear he took from the Diamond Dome facility belonged to the villain duo, Fact and Fiction. Fact was a mad scientist who built a device that enabled him to think his imaginary friend, Fiction, into existence. Brad, however, does not have the most creative of minds. The only imaginary friend he can come up with is a giant stick figure he aptly named, Mr. Stickly.
Power accessory: The "Story Teller" head band enables Brad to summon a giant destructive stick figure that he controls by morphing his mind into its form.
Summoning: Brad can summon a giant destructive stick figure he calls Mr Sticly. Mr Stickly is neigh invulnerable, super strong, and is linked directly to Brad's emotional state.
Power lift: With the aid of Mr Stickly, Brad can move objects that weigh many tons.
Weaknesses: If Brad is distracted and loses his concentration, Mr Stickly can disappear. Brad is also non-imaginative and naive.
